hide email address

Is it possible to use https://veilmail.io in my profile to be able to protect and hide my email address behind a captcha?

I am not sure if that is what you're looking for, but you have the option to restrict the visibility of your email address. You can find this setting in https://id.atlassian.com/manage-profile/profile-and-visibility at the bottom of the page.
