grey initial avatar in Chrome

Hi,

the initial avatars in Chrome turned grey sometimes during the last week. (Chrome is up to date on OS Win 10). In Edge the initial avatars are still colored and named correctly.

Is there any quick fix how to get back the initial avatars in Chrome?

In general, users that are no longer active have their avatars greyed out. Did someone in your org recently disable the specific users (J. Koch) you are looking at?

No, both screenshots are from the same board, the second (right picture/Edge, JK is J. Koch) was made today a couple of minutes after the first (left picture/Chrome) and all three are active members.

Sorry my initial response did not help. I have looked at other tickets with similar issues and the common theme is to try to clear the browser cache - even when running the latest version of Chrome.

In Chrome

1. On your computer, open Chrome.
2. At the top right, click More .
3. Click More tools  Clear browsing data.
4. At the top, choose a time range. To delete everything, select All time.
5. Next to "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files," check the boxes.
6. Click Clear data.

Sorry, I should have said this earlier: cleaning the cache in Chrome does not change the appearance. I just cleared it (again), but the avatars are still grey.
