getting from activity stream to backlog

This is probably very basic but I can't find documentation telling me how to do it. I just set up a new user. When she logs on she gets put in the activity stream page. How does she get to the backlog page? I never had this problem myself so don't know how to do it.

You mean backlog in project?

If so, you need to add this user into the software project, and change board to a scrum board.
