• how are you creating the ticket? REST API? Through an app? ....
• What is the HTTP response code you get?
• ..

Oh so from ServiceNow directly and their connection API.

I'm afraid that's outside of my scope of knowledge :) Considering it is a Syntax Error I'm guessing it's not even getting to your Jira instance yet?

Does ServiceNow have any more details/logs?
