fixVersions - can I control which versions will appear in list ?

Hi ,

FixVersions is Jira system field - field display all versions in current project which are in Release / Un Release status .

As the idea in "FixVersions" field is to set in which version we wants to do the fix , there is no sense to put version from the "released" versions .

Is there option to config this in jira and have in fixVersions list only the Un released versions ?

There's a discussion below that I think could help you accomplish this:

• how to make the field fixVersion hide released versions when resolution is "fixed" and show all versions if not choose "fixed" as resolution using javascript

We had a feature request for it below, but we do not intend to implement this in the near future:
