exclude in-app data

help page explains how to exclude in-app data BUT the way to find it on menu is incorrect !! 

When I fo on Atlassian Admin and SECURITY

there is no DATA CONTRIBUTION and neither Exclude in-app data, so I cant' disable it.

Can you please help?

The ability/settings to opt-out are still being rolled out.

Hi @Carolina SILVA

The data contribution settings will be gradually rolled out in Atlassian Administration starting today, April 21, and will continue until May 18, 2026. The settings will be available for all eligible customers from the 19th of May on. 

Please don't worry. Starting from then, the 90-day notice period begins, and August 17, 2026, is the effective date when Atlassian will start using eligible metadata and in-app data for all customers. 

We should revisit that page and wait until the rollout is complete.
