download area for Jira

Hello we are very interested in switching to Jiira to have a better support tool. one of our requirements is to offer also a dedicated download area for our software.

Till now i didn't found something.

Can some one give me a hint, recommendation or best practice

Jira is an issue tracker, not a file content delivery system.

It's not built for large attachments, so even if you did something to re-purpose issues as containers for downloads or found a file-library type App, if your software is not small packages, it's going to struggle to serve them up to the users efficiently.

I would strongly recommend looking at a separate dedicated storage and delivery system for this.

Hello Nic, Thanks.

 Jira would be our first choise for issue tracking . That Jira alone is not able to offer that download area is clear for me. That´s why I posted the question, hoping someone have the same needs to offer a download area.  A separate solution which covers the download topic and were Jira can be fully integrated would be the solution.

But till now I didn´t found something.
