disactivate weblink validation

Hi there,

I am trying to use weblink to a desktop application.

Normally i am using link in the browser that opens the desktop application, however the link not includes http or https and is not passing the field validation. (see screenshot)

How can I disactivate the weblink validation ?

Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

The Web links feature, currently, only accepts HTTP/HTTPS. It’s not possible to add a link to a local file and it’s not possible to disable this validation as well.

There is a feature suggesting improvements for that:

• URL Handlers - Only http/https schemes allowed
