define a required field to one project without affecting other projects

I have a problematic issue:

1 -
I have several project on JIRA. 
I try to make some field as required just in one project. unfortunately it influencing on other projects either.

I tried to create a new field configuration and associate it to a single project but it still influencing on others project.

can we maybe schedule a meeting to talk about it little more?

Did you associate the field configuration with the field configuration scheme, and associated this scheme with the project ?
