creating subtask fails

we have this for more than a week now, "We can't create the subtask"

on every user story in the project.

please check the below.

1. does the user have "create issue" permission in the project.

 2. check if any condition is applied on "create transition" for sub-task workflow.

I found the issue, there was a field made required on user stories (timeregistration)

this apprently made stories and subtasks fail with non-sensical error messages
