creating sub-task, field defaults from leading story before save.

After I execute "Create Sub-Task" within a story, I like to have for some Sub-Task Fields  default values coming from story, but already before save the Sub-Task (required fields).

Hi @[deleted] and welcome to the community!

You could that either by automation, or with a Post Function within the current sub-task workflow. However, these fields will be populated AFTER you hit the submit button for creating the subtask, and not prior. You can't populated them before, since the screen that opens is used to input data.

You possibly could do that on a later stage on your workflow (but you have to have already copy these fields to the subtask on a prior stage).
