Hello,
My company email doesn't have POP/IMAP option. How could I forward the emails to Jira to create tickets?
To follow-up what Nic and Yogesh let you know about, we had a feature request for this in the past:
At this time we don't have any intention to implement in the near future, so you will need to see if you can have your server admins allow IMAP or POP3.
Regards,
Shannon
Thanks for your response. I spoke with the team but said that they can't do anything for that since it does not meet company terms.
I need some help in Jira integration with slack. Is there any way to create jira tickets through slack?

Raviteja,
I would recommend raising a new question for the Slack integration question. That way users familiar with the Slack integration will be better able to find it and help you.

My guess is that you are using Exchange, which has a proprietary protocol called MAPI, which is expensive and pointless to implement in most software.
Your best option is to enable IMAP on the Exchange server for the incoming mailboxes, but if your admins refuse to upgrade the available protocols to IMAP, then the only other option is to run your own mail server and set up Exchange to forward the emails to it.

Welcome to the community!
Every mail uses the email protocols like POP/IMAP, if you don't know, please contact your IT/Network team they will help you on this.
For configuring incoming mail handler in Jira you will require Host Name, username and password for it and these things you will get it from the IT/Network team.
