create multiple checkboxes in a description field with jira automation

Hi all,

Trying to create multiple checkboxes in Jira Atomation when setting up a new task.

But it seems the editor behind is a plain text editor, in fact, and can't interpret "[] " as a checkbox and make, as an automation result, a plain text when creating a new task.

Is there any other way to create automatically without an admin custom field setup?

Unfortunately, this isn't supported yet, but there's a feature request related to it: AUTO-2136: Support rendering of checkboxes in the Rich text fields via Jira Automation 

We also need this, so I hope this will be delivered in the foreseeable future 🤞
