create and release a version from this column

Hi,

"create and release a version from this column" this option is available in the Kanban board where i can be able to release a version from board itself.

In the image i have the option in the rightmost column to release.

But in the below board m not getting that option. Can any one please let me know what is the reason and how to add that release option to the board.

Please help with solutions.

Hi Krithica,

this does not work with SCRUM Boards. You can create a version only with Kanban Boards.

Kanban Boards don't have a start and end, so you get rid of completed tasks by releasing a version. Then they are moved from the board.
