confluence page loads in 2 steps ?

We have just migrated from Confluence server to the cloud.
We observe that the pages take a long time to load. We have the impression that they are loaded in 2 stages, first the text, then in a second stage the macros.
Is this normal?
can we improve the loading time?

Hi Melanie,

I have never experienced this behavior that I recall. However my instance is cloud from the ground up not a migration. If this is repeatable on multiple spaces in pages than you might wish to have Atlassian support login and have a look. I wonder if the size of your Space is impacting performance?
