Hi Guys,

I am currently working on merging the multiple projects into a single project in jira cloud. I want to recreate or move this existing project components and releases to the new project.

To achive this, Is there any possibilities of automation or any quickest ways?

Kindly anyone anyone help on this!

I appreciate your feedback on this.

Thank you

Hello @Sanam Malleswari

I work for Exalate.

To merge multiple projects into one in Jira Cloud, you can bulk move issues, but components and releases need to be manually recreated since Jira doesn’t provide a direct automation for that. Apps like Configuration Manager for Jira can help streamline this process.

Alternatively, you could consider using a tool like Exalate. While primarily used for syncing projects, it can help automate and transfer components, releases, and issue details between projects efficiently.

Thank you.

Hi Sanam,

You would need to create the Components and Releases in the new project with the EXACT same names as the current projects.

See this for bulk loading Components.
