communicate jira with an Server

Hello,

We want to communicate jira with an "automation server", knowing that our Jira server is on the DMZ, should the "automation server" also be on the DMZ or we can put it in the LAN?

Hi Eya,

Welcome to the community. 

What is your understanding of the automation server.

If only this server should send something to jira, you can probably put it in the LAN, as I'm guessing that the server can reach jira from there.

If it is a bidirectional communication, you have to make sure, that both servers can reach each others, that will probably only work if both are in the DMZ.
