closed and resolved status not available while associating to new workflow in jira

closed and resolved status not available while associating to new workflow in jira

I was changing the workflow for one of the project, while changing it asks for mapping of each status of current workflow to each status with the new workflow. I was getting all the statues except Closed and Resolved for mapping step.

Please look into the below screenshot.

Also, if you are not changing those status in anyway, Jira is smart enough to know that you will want to keep the issues in the Closed status from the Old Work flow to the New. You won't have to map that status.

If you were removing the Closed status and putting in a status called Done you would have to do the mapping

Closed -> Done.

Sounds obvious but i have to ask to be clear.. Do you have 'Closed' and 'Resolved' statuses in the 'Bug tracker workflow' ?
