classic hour bundown chart of released version using greenhopper api

I am able to generate hour-boudown of given version using greenhopper api. But the problem is once that version is marked as released, api no longer recognizes the version and throws an error

"gh.gadget.version.no.longer.exists"

how to get burndown chart data using api for versions that are marked as released

looks like I can not accomplish through api as per text from greenhopper guide

The GreenHopper Released Board is the board that will give you access to your released version charts. When releasing a version via

GreenHopper (see the Planning Board mode: By Versions), GreenHopper will take a snapshot of all your charts before any issue swapping is

done. This is actually the only artifact that GreenHopper will keep after your version are released as an historical artifact.
