child issues not getting displayed for parent issue type

Hi ,

We have 3 issue types Epic, Feature and Release

So the way it works is Epic is parent to Feature and Feature is parent to Release.

So when we create an epic we need to mention the Feature link and under that feature, the epic is getting displayed under child issues. 

But when we do the exact same thing for feature ie. adding release link in the feature, then it is not getting displayed under the release child issues.

Can you tell us what we are missing in the release or feature issue type which is causing the child issues not getting displayed under release issue type ?
