changing from subtasks to task

I am a new user of Jira. I have to adjust a Kanbanboard as someone has made features with subtasks, but the subtasks need to be changed to tasks. How can I make that happen?

If you have the necessary permissions you can use the Move command. You will find this in the detailed issue view by clicking on the ellipses.
