cannot export to excel

When I go to my backlog, then "view in Navigator", then click export. I get the msg, "Excel cannot open the file 'FILENAME JIRA EAI 2024-05-15T10_26_34-0400.xlx' because the file extension is not valid. Verify that the file has not been corrupted and that the file extension matches the format of the file.
