can we switch server id for different machines or server id is locked to a particular license?

am testing jira server application by running within Oracle Virtual box. I get a server id by running locally inside my Virtual Box. If i share this server id to Atlassian to get paid license from them would i have to use the same id in my production server?, if i spin up a new production machine can i use the paid License obtained from Atlassian mapped to the production machine server id?

The same license can work for different Server Ids. You can try it.
