can't sign up, the site name is not conflict with existing ones
issue ID for Atlassian use: Anonymous ID: "4afd3eee-ed68-1313-08ad-27ef1715f370")
Hi @Cmaj7
Thank you for reaching out.
I’ve looked into this, and while the site name itself isn't in conflict, there are a few reasons why a sign-up might be failing.
I suggest submitting a ticket for further support so our team can investigate your specific case. To do this:
Go to the Atlassian Support: Pricing, Billing, & Licensing | Atlassian.
Under How can we help you?, select Other.
Explain the issue in the text box, including the Anonymous ID you provided here, and submit the ticket.
In the meantime, please note that the error may be caused by a temporary performance issue, local browser cache, or network configurations.
Additionally, sometimes the sign-up restriction is related to Atlassian’s commitment to complying with global trade controls and economic sanctions regulations. As a global company, Atlassian must adhere to laws and regulations that restrict the provision of software and services in certain countries and regions. For more detailed information on our policies, you can refer to our Atlassian Customer Agreement | Atlassian and Privacy Policy | Atlassian.
Best,
Samuil

Hi @Cmaj7 ,
Even when the site name isn't conflicting with existing ones, there are several common reasons this can happen:
Common Causes:
1.Email already associated with another site
Your email may already be tied to an existing Atlassian account or organization. Try signing up with a different email, or check if you already have an account at id.atlassian.com.(https://id.atlassian.com/)
2.Browser cache / session issues
Clear your browser cache and cookies, or try in an incognito/private browsing window.
Disable browser extensions (especially ad blockers or privacy tools) that may interfere.
3.Temporary service issue
Check status.atlassian.com (https://status.atlassian.com/) for any ongoing incidents affecting account creation.

If the account already existed, the error message for the site they are trying to create would be different.
As for the service issue, there are incidents but they are regarding incoming emails.
