can project categories be made mandatory in jira?

I hope you all are having a good time and Merry Christmas to all.
Currently in JIRA cloud, we have several custom project categories. I would like to know if it is feasible to make this field mandatory as is the project name for example.

Currently it is not possible to make the project category required. I checked jira.atlassian.com and could not find a suggestion to add that feature, so you could create one for Atlassian to consider in the future.
