can any jira-developer gp member add an Issue to an Epic in JIRA Agile?

I would like my devs to be able to add issues to some of the Epics I create. I'm the admin and we are all in the jira-developers group.

Is this possible in the vanilla, out of the box Jira Agile brand newly created account and new scrum board?

If not, what do I have to do to let my devs add issues?

Hello,

You can add any issue to an Epic by including the said Epic's Key in the "Epic/Theme" field of the issue to be added. By doing this you are tagging the inteded issue to the Epic where you want it to belong.
