calculate WIP per team

How can I calculate average WIP for a team in scrum project? I want to digitize and measure the principle "one person is working on 1-2 tasks at the same time, not bunch of tasks".

We have created an add on that can solve your problem.

You are able o create a board and define swimlanes per person. WIP limit could be defined per column and swimlane intersection. As result, you will have WIP per person. 

Another option is to define WIP per swimlane so the WIP will be applied across all columns. I guess such a case might be beneficial in some cases.
