I'm a new people manager. We use story points and subtasks but not hours for the subtasks. We only assign story points to top-level tasks.
How to create a burn-down chart?
Is there any best practice to not use hours and still get burn down at subtask level?

The Burndown Chart is board-specific – that is, it will only include issues that match your board's saved filter.
The vertical axis represents the estimation statistic that you have configured for your board.
You can choose to use story points to generate burndown chart.
