Im trying to bulk edit tickets to belong to an epic, I cant see an option of "change epic link"

i do have a check box that says:

A subtask cannot be assigned to an epic.

Choose an epic to assign this issue to.

There isnt any input field.

Any solutions to this ?

You cannot assign sub-tasks to an epic. The epic link field does not exist for sub-tasks. Before performing a bulk edit be sure your JQL excludes sub-tasks

Hi @[deleted]

Can you please attach some screenshots of what you are seeing?

Also, please confirm:

  • Are you bulk editing 'epic' tickets or any other issue types?
  • If editing epics, then you get 'epic name' not epic link.

Thanks,

Simar
