Hi Danyil,

It looks like you’re not the only ones affected—it seems that Atlassian is experiencing an incident. Their status page is still empty for now, but I expect they will publish an update soon.

Regards,

Martin

Atlassian Support teams are investigating reports of intermittent errors for SOME Jira Cloud customers for Automations triggering. You can subscribe to below incident to receive updates:

Jira Status - Automations aren't triggering on work item creation, field updates, or comment additions

Hi @Danyil Chuhuievskyi

Welcome to the Atlassian community.

I'm sorry to hear the automation rules are currently stalled. When "Global" or "Project" rules stop firing, it is typically due to one of four common reasons:

  • Automation Execution Limits
This is the most frequent cause. Depending on your Atlassian plan (Standard or Premium), you have a monthly limit on rule executions.
  • The "Actor" Permissions
Automation rules run on behalf of a user (the "Rule Actor"). If the person who created the rule has left the company, had their permissions changed, or lost access to the project, the rule will fail to execute.

Have you already checked the Audit Log for the affected automation rules? This will tell you exactly if the rules are "Failing," "Throttled," or simply not "Triggering."
