autocompletion in jira groups

autocompletion in jira groups

Is it possible to get autocompletion in custom field of type group in jira like it is for user picker field.

Currently, we need to click on the group icon and search for the groups, which is not ideal

Hi, take a look at https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/84612/how-to-add-auto-complete-rendere-to-any-custom-field on using Javascript to achieve this on any multi-select field. Haven't tried it for groups yet though.
