auto assign user to jira tasks

We would like to auto assign tasks to a user in jira. How do you do this?

we need more info. specifically under what conditions do you wish to accomplish?

You can have all issues for a project default to the project lead

you can have issues associated w/ Components you define default to the Component lead.

you can use post processing on the workflow to assign based upon certain conditions.
