are there issues with the JIRA icons on IE11?

when using JIRA on IE, the top navigation to the right displays the drop downs, but not the icons to know what drop down I am selecting. Not a problem on chrome.

I don't know about this specific problem, but my experience with JIRA on IE overall hasn't been great. I've encountered a lot of bugs using IE ranging from the "Attach Screenshot" functionality not working correctly and the CAPTCHA form not working if a user enters the wrong password several times.

Sorry I don't know anything about this particular issue, but your safest bet is to use another browser other than IE (like you mentioned, Chrome has been my browser of choice when working with JIRA).
