JDK 1.7 is not supported by JIRA 5.1. It is supported only from 5.2.

Ah browser side, apart from the applet nothing else is there in JIRA which needs Java on the client side. And it is broken with Java 7 - https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRA-30747

Thanks for the response, I looked at it. I am more interested in is there any feature on the browser side that's dependent on JDK

I know ScreenShot applet doesn;t work.
