allowing customer to create issues for backlog and view board

Hi All, we use the kanban board for our project setups - is it possible to allow a customer access to a single project and view the active kanban board, and only create new issues in the backlog? 

I seem to have worked out all the different permissions needed, but don't know how to allow my customer access to the board / project, how can i do this?

My suggestion would be to look into Anonymous Access for your project.
