Have you restored an old xml-backup to another server?

Describe in as great detail as you can (preferably more than 11 words) and we will do what we can to help.

Not forgetting to *read the logs* - they should tell you what is going wrong. Try atlassian-jira.log first and catalina.out if there is no jira log.
