active objet manytomany with JIRA table

I am creating an associating table between a custom table and a legacy JIRA table (issuetype). How could I declare the manytomany relation between my custom table declated with active object, and the issuetype table ?

Hi, Duplacite the issuetype table doesn't seems a good as it will not answer to the need of attaching some items to the JIRA issuetype.

I don't think you can do that with activeobjects. You might want to duplicate the issue type table as an activeobject table.
