One of our users suddenly can't mention other users in Jira. He has already tested it in different projects and in all of them it does not work. In confluence the problem does not exist.He has the same rights as other users for whom it works.

For mentions to work the user must have the Browse Users global permission. Can you confirm that the user has that permission?
