Xray Manual Test Steps customfield not giving change log when edited

Those new to the Atlassian Community have posted less than three times. Give them a warm welcome!
I have a listener that listens on Edit Issue Events and that event usually has changelogs information of what was the old and the current value of a certain field, for some reason
when an Xray "Test" Issue Type is edited specifically is "Manual Test Steps" it does not have a changelog of the value before and after the edit
is there anybody from xray that can help? thanks
