Xray Cucumber: Backgrounds missing from Test Execution when imported via REST API

Same Cucumber Json file. Missing Backgrounds steps via REST API. Any help will be much appreciated.

Web UI: Upper right corner "..." Dropdown and select option "Xray - Import Execution Results" to import cucumber.json.  This way will show Backgrounds steps in execution results.

REST API: Use it will not show Backgrounds steps in execution results.

As this is a Marketplace app question/feedback, it would probably be easiest to reach out to Xray support here for their support team to take a look at it. 👈
I did play around with Xray, but it was only on a high level.

Vendors are usually quite responsive when it comes to troubleshooting or general questions about their apps, and it’s probably recommended to use their official service desk to raise a ticket.

If you're not a Jira admin on your site, I would also recommend reaching out to them and discussing the issue + they might already have some kind of dedicated channel with the vendor for escalating issues or environment-specific questions. 👀
