XSRF Token Missing when utilizing behaviors

We're utilizing behaviors to validate a field in Jira & Jira Service Desk. When implementing a simple validation against that field with regex we are faced with the XSRF Token Missing screen. I've seen suggestions to disable the token check. This is not a feasible "work around" as our deployment is governed by an enterprise wide security protocol.
