We have dedicated QA developers and when we groom our tickets we account for Developer/Developer Points and QA Developer and QA Developer points. Problem is the Workload by assignee doesn't report points for these QA folks unless the ticket is assigned to them. Is there a way to show total points assigned in the sprint for each individual even if they are not currently the assignee? In other word if there name is listed for Developer or for QA Developer show the total points assigned the individual in the sprint.
Hi @Clint ,
Welcome to the Community! What problem are you trying to solve by having points per person? You could split the stories to have some assigned to developers and some to QA. But I'd suggest to use points to calculate team velocity and to create sub-tasks (under the stories) to reflect the different contributions to the story by the different team members (developers and QA). I'd also use time tracking for sub-tasks, but of course, you know your process and what would work better for your teams :-) .
Splitting them is an option but not a good one with our work flow. Subtasks I looked into and this also doesn't work that well. What I really need is a way to plan a sprint and have all points showing up regardless of being the currently assigned person. Simply stated I just need all points accounted for for all people involved so I can make sure the sprint points are appropriate.
