Workflow no auto-assigning on Create transition.

Hi there. We have a workflow setup to auto-assign to a specific user declared in the Post Functions of the Create transition:

However, when an issue is created, the user is not auto-assigned to the issue and the issue remains Unassigned.


The user in question does have the Assignable User permissions as they are a Project Administrator.

Is there something we are missing?

Welcome to the Atlassian community.

Try moving the Assignee post function to be the first post function in the list. That worked for me.
