Workflow Transition button labels on an issue do not match the workflow transitions in the workflow diagram.

I modified the name of a transition in my workflow. I published that workflow. When I click on the "View Workflow" button on a particular issue the diagram comes up and it has my new transition name. However, on the actual button that initiates the transition, the name is still the old name. How can I get the new workflow transition names to show up on the workflow buttons on my issue?

It appears that the issue you're experiencing is related to this bug. I recommend trying the workaround described there if it's applicable.
