Work items are striked out despite being " in progress"

Heather Driscoll

There are a couple of work items that needed to be re-opened and worked on. However, now that they are being worked on, they are still striked out when I look at the current sprint despite being "in progress." I know it is because they were re-opened but I don't know how to fix this. They also show the status next to the current status. So for example, next to the "in progress" status, it also shows to the right a check mark and status that says "cannot reproduce" because originally we couldn't reproduce it but then the team saw the issue again and we were able to reproduce it hence the reasoning for reopening the ticket.

Make sure that your workflow is clearing out the resolution field when you reopen an issue. If the resolution field is set then you will see the strike through because Jira is considering all issues that have a resolution to be completed.

See this KB for best practices regarding the resolution field.
