I am looking for more information on a recommendation for work intake to JIRA. We would like to give customers a easy way to submit requests for enhancements to software, bugs, etc to be added to a team's backlog. Challenge is most are not JIRA users so navigation to get to the right project/board to create the request is an issue.

I would recommend Jira Servicedesk here. You can create Easy to use portals, that even users not used to Jira can handle well. In the backend you and your colleagues do have the full power of Jira.
