Word wrap for Notes or summary field

i have lot of column including issue key, summary and notes column. i would like see data without truncate or partial when wanted to see in filter view. is there any word wrap option?

Hi @Ramesh Krishnan ,

There's no built-in word wrap option when looking at filter results.
As you've noticed, the longer text will be truncated with an ellipsis.

I mean, you could resize columns, but I'm guessing you're not looking for that.

You could consider something like:

• Switching to the Detail view
• Exporting the filter results - to a CSV, or using the Jira Cloud for Sheets add-on (this is actually a cool one, and could maybe help with what you're looking for)

There's only this feature request that I managed to find when it comes to support of multi-line fields: CONFCLOUD-77070: Enhancing Jira Issues Macro in Confluence Cloud to fully display multi-line text fields from Jira (although it's related to Confluence and Jira integration) 👀

Good morning. So, no, Jira does not currently have a “word wrap” button/flag to show the full Summary/Notes in the filter view. The real alternatives are: expanding the column, using the issue's side panel, or exporting (CSV/HTML) to see the full text. That is what I have been doing when I need to, but perhaps someone from the community has another solution.

i dont want see in excel/Word/html. i would like to give walkthrough directly from jira instead of export.
