With the free version of JIRA, there is no Create Sprint button in Backlog screen

Using JIRA Cloud free version. Have a backlog set up but there is no Create Sprint button to be found. Is this a permissions thing or are Sprints not available in the free version?

Hi @Daniel Merizzi,

Welcome to Atlassian Community!

The create sprint button should be available, and it is controlled by the "Manage sprints" in the permission scheme. But I would check what type of board you have, because Kanban boards also have a backlog but do not have sprints.
