I want to be able to show in the history of the ticket that it was fast-tracked to a status by an automated service account instead of the current user that did the previous transition.
That way I can differentiate between an actual user performing the transition and if it was done automatically through some configuration.
Hi @Charlie Bolante,
It seems there is no "run as user" in configuration panel but you can add a comment for fast-track transitions. So that, you can differentiate from comment/history tab.
*Btw, it is possible to run via different user if you have Automation plugin.
Thanks @Tansu Akdeniz,
We had actually done this previously to add a comment, however, the comment added is still added as the current user so it looks like the user just added a comment saying it was fast-track, but one of the requirement for our audit was to indicate which transition were progressed using an automation account. so this wouldn't work.
We are looking at the Automation plugin as well, but we have found that there is a delay when it transitions and users have to refresh the screen sometime in order for it to show the correct status.
