Will scriptrunner scripts in workflows post-functions be copied when moving to sandbox from PROD?

Hello Community,

We would like to perform a copy from Production to sandbox. Our workflows contain several post-functions that include scriptrunner scripts. We would like to know if those scripts will also be copied when performing the data copy.

Hello there!

The workflows including their structure, steps, transitions and conditions will be copied from your Production environment to the Sandbox environment.

The ScriptRunner scripts used in post-functions will be copied alongside the workflows

Important things to note

• If your scripts use any environment specific variables or settings, these may need to be adjusted in your Sandbox environment.
• Scripts that interact with external systems or other Atlassian Products, may need to be reconfigured in the new environment

In summary, when copying configuration from one Jira Cloud instance to another one, the ScriptRunner scripts in post-functions will be copied along with the workflows. However, it is always a good practice to verify and test the functionality.

Hi!

We store many of our scripts in the new Script Manager, and workflow post-functions use the scripts from there. We realized that this way the scripts stored in the Script Manager do NOT get copied alongside the workflows from the production to the sandbox site. 

Manually copying them one by one is not possible as there are too many scripts in a folder structure.

Is there a solution to copy these scripts together, f.e. like an export/import or a tool?
